Cercle De Lharmonie/Rhorer - Gioachino Rossini: Il Barbiere di Siviglia

Il barbiere di Siviglia requires youth and inventiveness, and this new production presented by the Th��tre des Champs-�lys�es, Paris in 2017 has it in spades thanks to the verve of conductor J�r�mie Rhorer and his ensemble Le Cercle de l�Harmonie and the staging of Laurent Pelly. The cast brings together some of the finest performers of this repertoire, notably Florian Sempey (one of the world�s best Figaros), Michele Angelini as an elegant Count, Catherine Trottmann as a mischievous Rosine, and Basilio performed by Robert Gleadow.
