In Japan, the album had the same original title and song order as the British version, but it was released much later, on August 10, 1968 (Toshiba Ongaku Kogyo), under the Japanese title Always Sunshine In My Heart--Lulu with a unique photo on the jacket.Nine months had already passed since the Japanese release of the single Always Sunshine in My Heart (November 5, 1967), but it was still a long time after the hit, as it not only reached the number 42 position in the Oricon magazine, which had just been published at the time, but was also ranked for 32 weeks. The album was not only the highest-ranked album of the year at No. 42, but also remained in the top 32 for 32 weeks.
