Michael Poll - Johann Sebastian Bach: 7-String Bach

Recorded in the iconic Abbey Road Studios, this new recording of Bach's Lute Suites is transcribed for and performed on the 7-string guitar by classical guitarist and conductor Michael Poll. During twenty months of scholarly research, Michael noted that the 7-stringed guitar offered a unique opportunity to play Bach's music in its original register, giving the listener a chance to experience the suites as Bach himself would have heard them.
