From the first note the music moves with exciting changes in tone, expression, shapes and colors. Close/Away is at the same time a reflection of contradictions and unity. Music created for jazz quintet, but with strong elements of both eclecticism and electronics. Each track is a world of its own, sometimes you are swept in by warm, lush breezes and sometimes you get blown away by explosive energy. The music, composed by Adam Sass, is written with the specific musicians in thought which has given each individual a lot of freedom.
