Kevin Figes Quartet - Hometime

The first release on his own Pig Records label, this features nine original compositions by saxophonist Kevin Figes. Supported by a stellar rhythm section, the recordings cover ballads, swing, latin and funk in a contemporary jazz setting. 'Hometime' was chosen for broadcast on his BBC Radio 6 show by Iggy Pop, who described it as a beautiful piece.
