Dougie MacLean - On a Wing and a Prayer

Since starting his illustrious career in the mid 1970's, Dougie MacLean, OBE, has been described as one of Scotland's premier singer-songwriters.

Beginning, as part of many highly regarded folk bands and ultimately settling into his solo career during the early 80's, Dougie has had a constant stream of releases to this day. His most famous pieces include Caledonia, which is often dubbed Scotland's unofficial national anthem. With a great number of his other songs going on to be recorded by many other well-known artists.

On A Wing and a Prayer was originally released in 1981 through Plant Life Records and was Dougie's second solo album.

This reissue of the contemporary Scottish folk masterpiece, has been remastered by John Rivers at Woodbine Studio and presented in a beautiful deluxe six panel, digi-file case, whilst staying true to the brilliant 1981 vinyl release.
