Kate Rusby - The Girl Who Couldnt Fly

Kate had a great time making this album and it shows in the music. There are 11 tracks plus a bonus track, (Jack Frost - written for CBBC animation of same name), 7 self-penned, 4 with traditional words and King, Stewart & Price's 'You Belong to Me'. We are delighted to say that the cover design artwork is by Graham Coxon, formerly of Blur. Intuitively produced by John McCusker, guests on the album include musicians Andy Cutting, Ewen Vernal, Andy Seward, Donald Shaw, John Doyle, Kris Drever, Michael McGoldrick, Neil Yates, Jim Fletcher, Matt Broadbent and string players Greg Lawson, Carole Howat, Steve King and the late Kevin McCrae. Extra vocals are provided by Kellie While and Roddy Woomble from the band Idlewild.
