Sergey Tanin - Sergey Tanin Schumann

The young Siberian pianist Sergey Tanin is already one of the most promising pianists of his generation.

He gained his first international recognition at the Concours Geza Anda in Zurich, and in October 2020 he won first prize at the renowned Kissinger KlavierOlymp.

He is now presenting his second album on PROSPERO CLASSICAL, which is dedicated entirely to Schumann's piano works.

[Tanin] surprises with a very personal cycle of Schumann's Davidsb�ndlert�nze, which he contrasts effectively. Florestan is wild, feverish and often seems rushed, while Tanin stretches the passages showing the poetry of the 'mild' Eusebius. The worlds of Florestan and Eusebius are thus cleverly juxtaposed, with the pianist benefiting from his clear touch and his sense of timbre.
