Jabier Muguruza was born in northern Spain in 1960. After collaborating with groups of the Basque Country and starting his own band, Les Mecaniciens, in 1994 he began a solo career, recording five albums over the next seven years that were characterised by their singer/songwriter leanings, jazzy touches and acoustic intimacy, earning comparisons with artists such as Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen and Lluis Llach. With ENEGARREN POSTALA he has recorded his most surprising 10 song palette.
