Touring relentlessly with that album, Marianne, on a rare day off in December 2009, stopped in a Paris studio to record Paris One Takes with her Tucson-based touring band of Sergio Mendoza, Brian Lopez, Geoff Hidalgo and Olivier Samouillan. In one afternoon, the band and Marianne, tight from having played thirty shows in seven European countries, nailed what had been their live show. The result: Paris One Takes, a revisiting of L'Entredeux and a glimpse into Marianne's second 'official' release, L'Abandon (2011).
