The second of three albums recorded by pianist Cedar Walton, bassist David Williams and drummer Billy Higgins during a single concert in Bologna, Italy is (like the other two) an excellent example of Walton's distinctive approach to hard bop. The trio stretches out on Fred Lacey's Theme for Ernie, Fred Coots/Sam Lewis standard For All We Know, Thelonious Monk's Off Minor, Sonny Red's Bluesville, and two lesser-known Walton originals, Ojos de Rojo and Jacob's Ladder.
