Janove - Artisten & Marlene

The first solo album from Janove after his band, Kaizers Orchestra, went into their hiatus in 2013, Artisten & Marlene was first released in 2017 and received raving reviews in Norway. The 15 song LP offers a rich and diverse album�born from the need to fill a full concert slot with original new material as a solo artist. It's often said he didn't just compose an album, but a setlist, which might not be far from the truth. After more than a thousand shows with Kaizers throughout Norway, and most of Europe, he's become an expert performer in the live format. On this album you'll find Janove demonstrating his wide range of composing styles in many different genres, including Rock, R&B, Pop, Ska/Reggae, epic landscapes and intimate singer-songwriter style.
