Jack Hylton - Hot Hylton 1926-1930

The Jack Hylton Orchestra spans the inter war years almost exactly. This recording concentrates on a period where the orchestra had some very notable inclusions; the likes of the hot violinist (also trumpet, alto sax, clarinet & piano) Stanley Andrews and Hugo Rignold the hot soloist that Jack had placed in the band for the Kit-Kat Club in the mid '20s. On Moanin Low the 16 year old Ella Logan debuts and Sam Browne is used for vocals on many other tracks.
