• Combining two rare albums that the quartet (Russell Thompkins , Airrion Love, Herb Murrell and James Smith) recorded for Mercury Records in 1978 and 1979.

• With sleevenotes by David Cole, founder and editor of the renown UK magazine, In The Basement.

‘In Fashion’ and ‘Love Spell’ were arranged and produced by the late Teddy Randazzo (best known for his 60s work with Little Anthony & The Imperials and The Royalettes and composer of classics such as ‘Goin’ Out Of My Head’ and ‘It’s Gonna Take A Miracle’). Randazzo wrote or co- wrote all of the tracks on ‘In Fashion’ and seven of the tracks on 1979’s ‘Love Spell’, which also included songs written by group members Russell Thompkins Jr. and Airrion Love.
