Janove - Fullmanehymner

The latest album from Janove Fullm�nehymner'' was released in 2022, returning to his stripped-down solo approach without his band. Simple instrumentation from a string quartet, vibraphone, melodic percussion and a female choir add texture and depth to Janove's powerful songwriting. Just as his third album with his band, Det Sorte Karneval, felt like a peak in its category, Fullm�nehymner'' equally feels like Janove's most holistic solo album thus far in his career. The album communicates a unique personality, slow and mellow in nature, but at the same time warm and huge, with its symphonic arrangements and grandiose mixing by Norwegian super-producer, J�rgen Tr�en. Fullm�nehymner received significant reviews in Norway, where the culture website Subject gave it six stars and called it Sensational! Janove did a short, but ambitious tour, performing in four of the biggest concert halls in Norway in support of the album, including the National Opera in Oslo in the fall of 2022.
