Janove - Barrikadeballader

Janove's fourth album is a follow-up to his previous intimate singer-songwriter success. Barrikadeballader was released in 2020 during the pandemic, and was a convenient album to tour with as there were many restrictions on capacity and seating requirements in Norway and around the world. Janove performed close to one hundred shows alone with his piano during the pandemic�often performing back-to-back shows every night, for 100 or 200 people at the time. He said these concerts felt like some of the most meaningful work he'd performed in his career, being able to give his audience a small escape from the tough, enduring and limited everyday life during the Covid-19 pandemic.
