In line with the BBC's continued support of Jazz Music in the UK, Specific Jazz have been charged, again, with the task of compiling this year's 2CD budget priced set to accompany this year's Jazz Awards. The set features the cream of UK jazz with legends such as Dame Cleo Laine, Sir John Dankworth, Humphrey Lyttelton, Courtney Pine and Norma Winstone rubbing shoulders with established names like Tony Kofi, Guy Barker, Tommy Smith and Ray Gelato, with the new kids on the block Gwilym Simcock, Arnie Somogyi, The Blessing and Basquiat Strings.
