Birmingham, England, is where Martin Barre (Jethro Tull) and John Carter grew up and were best friends and remained so throughout their lives. In the early 60's they went their own way.In 1997 John and Martin were musically reunited when they recorded the critically acclaimed Spirit Flying Free, a collection of John's songs, aided and abetted by their mutual friends from Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention, Jon Noyce, Dave Pegg, Chris Leslie and Paul Burgess.We are pleased to be able to re-release this classic album once more.
