Fulci - Opening the Hell Gates

The debut of Fulci, a seminal band that has rewritten the history of death metal, was Opening The Hell Gates, based on the cinematic masterpiece City of the Living Dead by the legendary director Lucio Fulci. In 2020, the band reached the 35th position in KERRANG! Magazine's ranking of the 50 bands that have kept death metal alive and well over the past ten years. Additionally, the artwork for Tropical Sun was mentioned among the best of 2019 by the English publication Masterpieces: Heavy Music Artworks.
