Andreas J Winkler (*1974) is, by his own admission, one of those composers who seem to be becoming rarer and rarer: namely, for whom it is definitely important to be understood, even liked, by the audience as an artist.

He believes that it is a good thing to move listeners with music, and he hopes that this recording with selected songs, chamber as well as piano music will do just that.
