The Minyo Crusaders have been breaking new ground with their fusion of Japanese folk music and Latin rhythms, and have been highly acclaimed not only in Japan but also overseas by NPR, The Guardian, and others. The Minyo Crusaders, who Ry Cooder called the best band I've ever seen, have released their long-awaited new album, their first in six years since 2017! This album also features their unique arrangements of well-known folk songs such as Kaigabushi, Soranbushi, and Sado Okesa, which have been a staple of their live performances.
