Sabine Wiesli Caline - Years Of Snow

The band name C�LINE translates to sensuous, which has to do with the music that has a fine, smooth character. Idiosyncratic and unselfconscious, it moves between influences from different styles, such as jazz, pop or chanson. The music is multi-layered and yet simple, performing spherical and sometimes psychedelic soundscapes. Reticent drums, an airy piano and a supporting bass accompany the warm, complex voice of Sabine Wiesli. The cello, accordion and Moog synthesizer provide additional depth and atmosphere.
