Spidergawd - II

Since their spontanous formation in 2013 the Trondheim-based band Spidergawd has released six albums, the next one Spidergawd VII is due out this winter.

Going from their improvised rock out in their rehearsal studio, through a sonic soul searching journey over the hard rocky slopes of stoner rock and bluesy psychedelica, digging into the deep creeks of Coltrane-esque treasures, racing back at the flat land of straight rocking, moving into the urban areas of gasolin-fueled garageland, and further out to the concrete suburbs of classic heavy metal...They even discovered a few catchy pop melodies along the way.

Spidergawd II was first released in 2015 with the band line up of:Per Borten (ex-Cadillac, Moving Oos, Cobra Kraft ): Lead vocals & guitars, Kenneth Kapstad (Motorpsycho, Monolithic): Drums, Bent Saether (Motorpsycho): Bass, Rolf Martin Snustad: Sax

Per Borten looking back on the album : It gives me the impression that I got motivated to write better songs, but could not decide which direction to follow. This is by far our most schizofrenic album. Still, it seems like many of our fans loves it. Bent had a strong influence on this album. He saw it as a playground to follow different genres, but it definitely showed no direction of where we were headed ...what so ever.
