Shantalla - Seven Evenings, Seven Mornings

UK debut release from seven piece traditional Irish band who have been drawing comparisons with the great bands Planxty and The Bothy Band. Already a huge hit in Europe, Shantalla have toured with Altan, Liam O'Flynn, Sharon Shannon, Dervish and Lunasa.Comprising of four brilliant Irish musicians and the Sandy Denny-like, Scottish vocalist (& bodhran player) Helen Flaherty. Shantalla play a mixture of traditional Irish & Scottish songs and tunes, self-composed material and contemporary songs.
