Mormant de Snagov has some enchanting - dark - melody lines to offer, which you could inject into devilish black metal bands as well as Scandinavian old school melodeath metal bands as well as melancholic (gothic) doom metal bands... Mormant De Snagov is an extreme metal group based in Turku and Naantali area, Finland. The band was formed in 2008 and comprises of heavily seasoned long term metal musicians. The name of the band refers to old horror story classics, and during the first years Mormant De Snagov actually used horror stories as frames to their dark ideology in the lyrics, accompanied by a raw black metal sound. Over their 15-year career, the bands' expression changed album by album all the way from the more traditional black metal to the current hybrid of elements from different genres. Despite of the fact that there are influences from surpising sources in the expression of Mormant De Snagov, the band has always kept the hateful black metal core present. The members of Mormant De Snagov have also released several previous efforts through multiple bands and the collective CV nametags such groupings as Fall of the Leafe, Ablaze in Hatred, Searing Meadow, Malefic by Design, Leaflet and Devastracktor.
