Jimmy Herring - Subject To Change Without Notice

Best known as the lead guitarist for popular American band, Widespread Panic, Jimmy Herring has performed in multiple musical contexts, ranging from straight rock to technically demanding jazz fusion. He's also appeared with the Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, and Phil Lesh and Friends, and his second solo album on Abstract Logix, 'Subject to Change Without Notice', sees him joined on a track each by special guests Bela Fleck (banjo), and Bill Evans (saxophone).

For this CD Herring composed eight original songs and, by way of contrast, also includes three very different covers including the Mahavishnu Orchestra's Hope, George Harrison's Within You Without You and Jimmy McGriff's Miss Poopie. With its captivating range of styles, 'Subject to Change Without Notice' illustrates just why Jimmy Herring is one of America's most talented and versatile guitarists.
