Bwani Junction - Tongue Of Bombie

The title of Bwani Junctions second album Tongue of Bombie was lifted from the name of a farm spotted by the lads en-route to their set at Wickerman Festival - though its true origins undoubtedly have an unspeakably ruder explanation!Produced by legendary Paul Savage at the hallowed Chem 19 studio in Blantyre, this is an album that sees a growing maturity from a band still amazingly all in their early twenties. With more intelligent lyrics about love and loss, the songs all feature Rory (lead vocalist) and Dans (lead guitarist) duelling guitars over a muscular rhythm section.However this is a much darker and heavier offering than its predecessor, Fully Cocked, which was nominated for Scottish Album of the Year in 2012, and established Bwani Junctions enviable reputation as one of the most original bands currently on the scene, with praise from media and fans alike.
