Sulle Rive del Tango is a musical voyage through the world of Tango, checking the pulse on every place around the planet for the perfect Tango beat. This is the way the compilers from the eponymous collective describe this project: since 2005, Sulle Rive del Tango has researched, selected and also produced music from the most remote places, always focusing on the secret and mysterious sound of Tango. They tell a continuously evolving story through four highly successful compilations. The series started in 2008 (Aniversario is a 2CD Best ofof the first three volumes now out of stock) and has been chronicling the origins of the genre as well as the its most contemporary variations. A discographic project, and production lab as well as a place to share the passion of Tango, Sulle Rive del Tango is based in Napoli, Milano and Barcelona and the collective organizes events, dj sets and concerts.
