Raul El Ruco Mart�nez - Dueto Alegre

Accordion player/singer/composer Raul Martinez (1925-1978) was a major star of what was known as Nortena or Conjunto music in the Tex-Mex border region during the post World War II decade. He teamed with Juan Gonzalez, who also sang and played the bajo sexto (a special type of 12 string guitar). Together they recorded many best sellers as Dueto Alegre. 21 of the duo's best loved original recordings make up this atmospheric, lively compilation.
