The talented pianist and composer George King presents a solo album of nine melodic improvisations plus two classic jazz songs.
George King has performed at some of the worlds most prestigious venues including The Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Centre, The Southbank Centre and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, as well as festivals such as Glastonbury and The Philadelphia Jazz Festival. As a composer he has had his works performed and broadcast all over the world and has been awarded many different prizes for his works, including The IBLA Grand Prize (Italy), The Barto Prize (USA) and The Gunther Bialas Prize (Germany). He has performed with a wide variety of artists and settings, including Jah Wobble ('7' on 30 Hertz Records), Jon Thorne/Danny Thompson ('Watching the Well' on Naim Records) and Joanna MacGregor/Nitin Sawhney (on the album 'Neural Circuits').
