Jonas Hellborg, Shawn Lane & Vinayakrams - Paris

In 2001, bassist Jonas Hellborg and guitarist Shawn Lane added percussionist Selvaganesh and his two brothers Umashankar (percussion) and Umamahesh (vocals) to their touring line up. They come from one of the foremost musical families in India, in fact their father worked with John McLaughlin in his pioneering world music group Shakti. This two hour DVD captures both sets from their triumphant gig at the legendary New Morning jazz club in Paris.
