Bill Mobley - Black Elk's Dream

Trumpeter/composer Bill Mobley meets the strings from the Orchestre d'Auvergne on this live recording from 2012, which also features saxophonist Billy Pierce and pianist Donald Brown.

They perform the epic title track - an original composition by Mobley, alongside songs by Miles Davis, Ray Noble, Harold Mabern, Donald Brown and a stirring string-laden piece by Xavier Felgeyrolles titled Dream Team.
