Guitarist Lionel Loueke's debut recording, now released in the UK for the first time, demonstrates in no uncertain terms why artists of Herbie Hancock's stature are clamouring to work with himReleased in 2005, Loueke's solo debut is a live recording without overdubs. However, his seamless use of looping technology transforms his nylon stringed acoustic guitar and vocals into something larger than one instrument and one voice.
