Bill Mobley - Moodscape

'Moodscape' features Bill Mobley's distinctive trumpet stylings as he leads a quartet that features pianist Mulgrew Miller on a set of mostly standards arranged by himself.

The Memphis-born trumpeter Bill Mobley has been a fixture on the NY jazz scene since 1987. He is well-known as the leader of the Smoke Big Band that performs weekly at the Smoke Jazz Club as well for fronting his own small groups.
