Duke Ellington called her The Queen and rightly so. Peggy Lee made beautiful music during her long career. She was a dedicated perfectionist in everything she did, singing, acting or songwriting. She was one of the greatest female vocalists from any era who was held in high esteem by all the greats she worked with.
