Tuning into the BBC radio programme Children's Favourites in the late 50s and early 60s one would have heard Uncle Mac presenting and spinning the records heard throughout this 3 CD set. We have a mixture of out and out kiddies favourites along with many novelty recordings from the time that fitted in nicely with Uncle Mac's brief, and latterly Ed Stewart's programme in the mid 60s that carried on the tradition. Fun for all the family then and now.
