A legend in the industry and a performer of a number of hits in his own right. ‘Don’t Let it Die’ was a massive hit and won him an Ivor Novello award, this after The Beatles may or may not have turned it down because it was a little too complicated for Ringo to sing! His style was varied from the vaudeville of his youth to more contemporary influences of the late 60’s and early 70’s.

• This compilation brings collates two albums: “Hurricane Smith” – released in Northern America / Germany and “Don’t Let it Die” – released in the UK / the rest of Europe / Japan and Australia.
