Kenny Baker & Bobby Hicks - Darkness on the Delta

Originally released in 1980, this all-instrumental album brought together two of the finest and most influential fiddlers ever to put horsehair to catgut. Baker and Hicks both received their Bluegrass degrees from the professor emeritus and founder of the music, Bill Monroe. And while the album fits no other category than Bluegrass, the two players' Western Swing and Jazz roots are evident throughout.
