Tineke Postma - The Dawn of Light

In the last few years Dutch saxophonist Tineke Postma has established herself as one of the most creative musicians on today's jazz scene, performing on the international stage with such major names as Geri Allen and Terri Lynne Carrington. Another notable collaborator is bassist, vocalist, and recent Grammy Award recipient, Esperanza Spalding, who sings on one track on Tineke's new album, 'The Dawn of Light'.Also featured on the album is pianist Marc van Roon, bassist Frans van der Hoeven and drummer Martijn Vink, who together with Tineke, exhibit a special chemistry developed in performance over the last four years.
