Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra & Grigorios Zamparas - Young Richard Strauss

This album features three early orchestral works by Richard Strauss that are far too seldom performed. All three were written before Strauss became famous for his tone poems and clearly show the influence of Brahms and Wagner, but also demonstrate the composer's own voice.
