'Napa Crossroads' is the brainchild of Grammy award winning, multi-instrumentalist David Pack. It was David's passion for wine that led to this collaboration with five prestigious Napa Valley wineries - Far Niente, Silver Oak, Gargiulo Vinyards, Pride Mountain Vineyards and Casa Piena - on this wine themed album.
Each winery collaborated musically or lyrically on two tracks, with David and guest musicians bringing the total to fourteen original compositions. A stellar list of guests lend a hand, including one of the last ever performances by Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek, Bela Fleck, Alan Parsons, Todd Rundgren, David Benoit, Larry Carlton, Lincoln Parish from Cage the Elephant, Rick Braun, Simon Phillips and others.
'Napa Crossroads' upbeat, melodic and accessible songs are the perfect blend of the art of songwriting and the art of wine making. Tracks include O' Blessed Vine, Vineyard Stomp, Full House, Full Heart and Harvest. David Pack is the founder of the popular 70s - early 80s rock band Ambrosia, best known for the hits How Much I Feel and Biggest Part of Me.
