  • Jermaine Stewart hailed from the mid-west of the USA and became a successful solo singer after spells as a dancer on the renowned US TV show Soul Train, a brief stint with Shalamar and backing vocalist on Culture Club's 1983 album Colour By Numbers. It is reported that the band introduced Jermaine to Arista supremo Clive Davis and a deal was done. Jermaine Stewart released four original US albums (three in the UK) and enjoyed chart success, both single and album between 1983-1990. Tragically Jermaine Stewart died in 1997.
