The Cuff Links were a legendary studio group featuring Ron Dante - lead singer of The Archies – and were the brainchild of Pat Rizzo (formerly of Joey Dee And The Starliters).
Coming to the attention of legendary songwriting/ production team Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss (‘Catch A Falling Star’ / ‘Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini’ and many more), they recorded the catchy bubblegum singalong classic ‘Tracy’ which was released in 1969 and became an international hit.
With that kind of success, everybody was keen to get an album together and Rupert Holmes (‘Escape – The Piña Colada song’) was called in to add his expertise; the net result was this gorgeous debut album featuring ‘All The Young Women’, ‘Tracy’, ‘Sally Ann’, ‘Caroline’, ‘Heather’ and ‘Julie’!
