Kammerer OrKoster - Senf

The Ensemble Das Kammerer OrKoster unites six of the most interestingyoung musicians of the German and Austrian music scene. Thecompositions by Jakob Kammerer and Richard K�ster, the founders ofthe band, reach from delicate melodies to powerful grooves, and alwaysinclude a fine sense of humor. 'Senf' translates as 'mustard in English and a literal translation of the album's title would 'adding their mustard'.

The special sound of the band is formed by the extraordinary lineup ofa horn section with two trombones, alto saxophone and trumpet and arhythm section with double bass and drums. During the past couple ofyears the band has grown together and become a strong collective that isconstantly surprising the audience. The ensemble was also able to win therenowned European Young Artists' Jazz Award Burghausen.The band sounds as versatile as New Orleans and traditional Bavarianbrass band together, opens up for intimate solos and spontaneous changesof directions and swings just irresistibly.
