Former Artistic Director of Amnesia, Resident DJ of Pacha Ibiza, Manumission, and at one time or another guest on the decks in any major club you'd care to name anywhere in the world, it is with enormous pleasure that Alfredo, The Godfather of Balearic Beat, is announced as the inaugural release of D-Rom's Legends series. Alfredo has been a fixture and inspiration for DJs (Danny Rampling, Nicky Holloway and Paul Oakenfold, to name but three) and clubbers from all around the world for over three decades. DJ of the Decade - DJ Magazine / First DJ ever to receive an award at Midem / Lifetime Achievement Award - 2005 Ibiza DJ AwardsCurrently resident at Ibiza's legendary Space throughout this long, hot summer of 2011, this is Alfredo's mix of some of the best tunes from his current set.Having the opportunity to personally choose the records from the vast catalogue from D-Rom, I got the chance to create a mix that is a reflection of my own style of mixing, creating a blend of different kinds of tracks, giving the listener a compilation that delivers the flavour of Ibiza; something for me that would be a real success. To have Kenny Dope and Arnold Jarvis on this mix is an honour, and brings me back to my own house music roots.
