Sphere is the 3rd album from Finnish pianist, Alexi Tuomarila with bassist Mats Eilertsen, drummer Olavi Louhivuori and special guest trumpeter Verneri Pohjola. Sphere is simply brilliant, an album that brings together strong melodic, driving rhythmical soloing, Finnish melancholy and some of the finest musicianship emerging from any Nordic small Jazz ensemble.
