Long anticipted debut album after a year of playing sold-out gigs in some of the most prestigious venues across the UK. Athena (pronounced A-thin-aaah) is an outstanding singer and songwriter. London born but raised in Greece, she has succesfully condensed the two-cultures into her work. All the songs are written in English and make her an unclassifiable genre. Elements of rock, classical music and jazz permeate her music.The albums production was handled by famed Greek composer/producer George Andreou with legendary producer Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, Fairport Convention. Pink Floyd) adding his vast experience to the mix.
