Anke Helfrich belongs to the exclusive elite of European pianists who has been able to contribute a new kind of energy and spirit to jazz music. Each track on this album is dedicated to inspirational figures, including Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King, whose I Have a Dream speech is turned into to gospel groove on the Fender Rhodes.

Brilliant US trumpeter Tim Hagans displays masterful solos, stylistically between modern jazz and avant garde throughout. The album is mostly about heavily swinging groove with some musical surprises included. The album also features bassist Martin Wind, drummer Jonas Burgwinkel and special guest Ardie Walser, who reads the poem 'Invictus'.
