Franco Ambrosetti - After the Rain

Franco Ambrosetti is one of the leading jazz trumpet players in Europe. 'After the Rain' features extraordinary performances by his all-star group, especially by veteran bass player Buster Williams and a truly incredible Terri Lyne Carrington on drums. The leader contributes five fine new compositions and remarkable improvisations.

Franco's son Gianluca has developed into a most original soprano sax player and alto sax player Greg Osby adds more than touch of New York. This is Dado Moroni's first appearance on Enja and his thoughtful, deeply swinging piano contributions are most welcome indeed.
