Johnny Horsepower - The Band In Black

Johnny Horsepower are a true dedication to the original sound of Johnny Cash & the Tennessee Two. These welldressed gentlemen are known for their intense live appearance and showmanship.

The performance together with the sound of the 50's brings the young rebellion Johnny Cash back to life so to speak. Since their first live appearance in 2010 Johnny Horsepower have played around 500 Shows all over Europe.

The material is mainly songs from The Golden Age of Johnny Cash (1955-1972).

The Band In Black is a bit different from the previous works of the band as it features self penned tracks and not only Johnny Cash covers. Another feature that makes this record special is the collaboration with the original drummer of Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Three, WS Fluke Holland, in four of the songs recorded at legandary Sun Studios in Menphis Tennessee. WS Holland was the only drummer that Johnny Cash ever used live!!!
